After several months of contemplating the idea of this blog, finally I am glad that it has been started and I expect to bring interesting subjects for sharing and discussion. While the primary focus of this blog is the digital convergence of the ABCD in the Electronic Security Systems Industry in the areas of Access Control, Burglar Alarms, CCTV – stand for Closed Circuit TV – and Fire Detection systems, it will be open to physical security, building & home automation, information security and related topics.
This blog will discuss technology convergence, industry trends, customer needs, innovation and threats; bringing real world experience and concerns about the market. In this global digital world of the 21st century with the rising of Web 2.0 and the Wikinomics I felt that the only way to understand where is the electronic security industry today is to step ahead and start searching how these new technology resources can promote a new level of collaborative development.
